In search of warmer weather or a cheaper place to live, many retirees contemplate pulling up stakes once they’re finished working. In fact, a 2018 survey by Transamerica showed 38% of retirees had moved at least once since they stopped working.
Bankrate.com has come up with a list of how states compare as retirement locations, taking into account affordability (10% of the ranking), crime (30%), culture (15%), weather (20%) and wellness (25%).
