Consumers should have some sense of their creditworthiness, based on such measures as the amount of debt they have outstanding, their savings and whether they pay their bills on time. Now website WalletHub has come up with a ranking of the money management skills of U.S. cities that takes into account such data as the median credit score, the ratios of various types of debt residents have, including credit card debt and mortgage debt, to their income, and the average number of late payments.
The first five slides show the worst cities, in descending order, and the next five show the best cities.
