Starting a business is never easy, but some locations are more conducive to success than others. WalletHub recently compiled a list of the best big cities for entrepreneurs by assessing three different aspects of setting up shop in 100 large U.S. cities.
The business environment component takes into account such metrics as startups per capita, average growth in business revenue and job growth. Access to resources looks at factors including the availability of financing, venture capital, human capital and the portion of the population with a college degree. The business costs component includes office-space affordability, labor costs, corporate taxes and the local cost of living.
