10 best large U.S. cities to start a business

For all those planning to start their own business, WalletHub has come up with a list of the sizable cities in the U.S. that would be most conducive to successfully launch a startup. The ranking is based on three sets of factors: business environment, access to resources and business costs.

Business environment, which makes up 50% of the city’s score, includes such metrics as startups per capita, the city’s average growth of business revenues and five-year business survival rate. Access to resources includes financing accessibility, human-capital availability and higher-education assets, and business costs measures the expense of office space, labor, corporate taxes and cost of living in each city.
